artifact

Pictured here is the only genuine Handcock artifact known to exist.  Exhibited is one child sized left hand golf glove recovered by members of the 2003 Laird Jekyll Island Golf Excursion at no particular risk to their well being.

According to traditional folklore, this item was left during a hasty retreat from the Jekyll Island Pro Shop during a confrontation between the ill-fated Handcock clan and Terry Z, head Pro and part-time bouncer at the Jekyll Island Golf Club.

Notice the deformation of the item. Experts have studied this phenomena and have concluded the the wearer of this glove used what is commonly referred to as a "death grip" on the club resulting in the permanent claw-like shape of the item.

After a whirlwind tour that included stops at Andy Bratt's garbage can, a city sanitation truck, and dumpster, the Handcock Artifact is now on permanent display at the local landfill.
